About

Caroline Russell currently lives near DC, but was born and raised in New England. She has always taken pictures from a young age, but began taking proper classes in high school. Since then, she has come in third place in the James C. Macdonald Competition, has worked with her professor and professional photographer Karina Skvirsky, and will be doing a photography thesis with Karina this upcoming school year.

She is currently double majoring in English with a concentration in writing and Studio art with a concentration in photography at Lafayette College. As she continues to push the boundaries of photography in both landscapes and portraiture, Caroline has developed a talent for capturing light and enjoys photographing in black and white. While she is attached to her digital camera, she loves experimenting with Holga film and its double exposures.

She hopes that one day she will be able to impact the public with her photographs and writing.
